Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

Are you thinking about sprucing up your Space?

Here is a quick simple and easy trick. Switch out the mirror, choose something bold maybe a larger mirror or something with designs or a wheat basket design. Perhaps a plain simple large round gold or black trim mirror.

Regardless what mirror, make a statement, be bold, and choose a mirror that when you walk past you think dang you look good. Mirrors can make or break a room so always remember to choose wisely. The more the details in the mirror the more drastic effect you should see.

A larger mirror is going to give an appearance that the bathroom is bigger. When dealing with small bathrooms you want to give the allusion that there is more room. A mosaic or colored mirror will give off a fun vibe. I’m giving you ideas for mirrors to work in your space.

Round mirrors are definitely popular these days. Circular mirrors balance out a formation full of other geometric elements. The circles can be very calming and the shape is very pleasing to the eye. You have a rectangular painting, square storage bins, and many other angular forms that were inspired by a southwestern style. Since you have all of that edge, a circular mirror would be very useful to soften things up.

Even if round mirrors are trending, it’s not just all about that type. All types of rectangular and square mirrorsare true design chameleons, with frames or without. It’s amazing how this one unframed mirror makes small room look a bit more expensive.

My favorite big rectangle floor to ceiling mirrors.

For high ceilings, I suggest you try an antique mirror from the Victorian era, these mirrors used to be a substitute for windows to make rooms brighter. The dimensions are normally large, and sometimes they even have seats or built-in shelving.  These types of mirrors can also be used in your bedroom.

Don’t fret these larger rectangular mirrors aren’t just for living rooms. If you put it on the side of your bed, it would be the perfect place to shoot your #OOTD—or to just check yourself out.

Savagely Yours,

Krissy
